This WordPress website for The Svoboda/Shell Group features an IDX integration, tons of custom details, and an easy-to-update backend for future growth. Creating a design that flows with an IDX integration can be tricky, because the last thing you want is a generic, boxy site that looks like it’s full of a bunch of ugly embeds – yuck. To avoid this, I utilized a lot of movement through scrolling text, hidden canvases and slanted section dividers.
Plus, we needed to incorporate “sold” homes for both buyers and sellers within one gallery, so that was a fun challenge too!
One of my favorite features from this site is the interactive neighborhood map incorporated into the homepage. As a final touch, since the Svoboda/Shell team has a love of mid century modern homes, the site actually features images of their own homes! How cool is that personal touch?!
