San Diego Brokerage first came to me with a clunky website built on an outdated IDX system that was nearly impossible to customize, and with updates severely locked down by an outside agency. After doing a deep dive analysis into all of the integrations and functionality the website needed to have, I got to work redesigning the site page by page. It was also very important that the SDB team could easily update the website with new blog content, featured listings, testimonials, team members and more on a regular basis.
The new SDB website utilizes IDXBroker to pull in current listings, and features individual community pages with market reports and neighborhood listings. All contact forms, along with Buyer and Seller Guide freebie email optins, are integrated using Jotforms. The site also features home valuation reporting via Homebot, along with a mortgage calculator for potential buyers.
Since easy ongoing maintenance was imperative, I prioritized creating templates for many of the primary pages. The team simply has to duplicate a template and replace content – easy peezy!
Since their website launch, the SDB team has also booked several day rates with me for new business initiatives, including creating a featured property page that can be connected to numerous subdomains for marketing purposes, and integrating their “Local. Life. Style.” magazine into the site.
