A ONE DAY INTENSIVE FOR ALL THINGS CONTENT MARKETING – WEBSITES, COPYWRITING, DESIGN & MORE!
Who doesn’t like instant gratification? We like things done yesterday, and we want to put an idea into action as soon as it pops into our head. We want to showcase our work, bring in new clients, and grow our businesses. But here’s the thing – there’s only so much time in the day.
That’s where my Designer Day come in. I’ll work exclusively with you for a full day to knock out your pending content strategy needs. Whether your website needs updates, your copy needs a refresh, or you just need somebody to listen to your ideas and map out a strategic gameplan – you’re in the right place.
HEY, I’M GEORGIA KAYE!
LET’S PAUSE FOR SOME MEET AND GREET TIME
I worked for years in corporate content strategy spanning industries including automotive, real estate, financial and technology, and I know how to create, implement and analyze marketing strategies that work. In fact, I run my business from a strategy-first perspective, because I know that results matter to my clients.
When you invest in my services, you’re investing in the future success of your business – and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. It can be overwhelming trying to find someone who can help you update your website, write compelling copy, brainstorm strategy and design brand collateral. The idea of managing multiple freelancers is a headache, and maintaining consistency across your brand marketing with too many “creatives in the kitchen” is a recipe for disaster. When you add deadlines and multiple project pieces on top of that…yikes.
I’m your one-stop solution for all of your content marketing needs. My goal is to listen to you, understand your business, and help your achieve your goals through a streamlined, stress-free and results-oriented process.
INTRODUCING DESIGNER DAY
STARTING AT $1,500/DAY
This one day intensive enables you to book me for an entire working day to knock out your content marketing needs. You’ll be my only client for the day, have unlimited 1:1 communication with me, and get same-day results.
Your Designer Day will be specific to your goals and needs, and could include website design, copywriting, graphic design, general content strategy, and more. There will also be some prep work prior to you Designer Day, as well as a support period after our time together is complete.
HEY, THIS COULD BE YOU…
First, let’s make sure we’re a great fit! As soon as your inquiry pops up in my inbox, I’ll send over a link to schedule a consultation video call. This link will also include 4-5 brief questions so I can learn more about why you want to book a Designer Day with me.
During your consultation call, we’ll go through your responses together and dig into the goals you have for your business, and how I can help you achieve them. We’ll discuss any specific work you have in mind, and I’ll also provide recommendations based on the results you’re envisioning.
We will also choose a date for your Designer Day (these are typically scheduled at least 2-3 weeks in advance).
You’ll receive a proposal within 24 hours after your consultation call that lists out the items that will be completed on your Designer Day, and details how to book your project if you’re ready to move forward.
Since this is a fast-paced service and I only book 1-2 per month, your deposit will be due upon contract signing in order to secure your spot in my calendar.
Once your Designer Day is officially booked, you’ll receive your Discovery Questionnaire as part of the prep work. I’ll be asking questions related to your services, existing clients, design preferences, functionality needs, inspiration you might love, and more.
I will also request any existing content (branding, imagery, copy, etc.) you have that’s relevant to your upcoming Designer Day, so that I can review it before hopping on our strategy call.
Basically, this is your opportunity to discuss anything and everything that you’d like to work on during your Designer Day, so don’t hold back!
During this strategy call, I’ll provide an action plan and a priority list of “to do” items based on everything you shared within your discovery questionnaire.
I’ll walk you through my recommendations for design, layouts, copy and more based on the goals you’re wanting to achieve, and also provide some content outlines and mockups during this call so that you have a chance to review the initial direction, and provide feedback.
Your Designer Day will be from 9AM – 5PM CST, with a half hour lunch break. You’ll receive a reminder email an hour prior, reiterating some important information for your day.
I will be working solely on your project, and will be in communication with you throughout the day via a pre-determined chat-based platform. Please keep in mind that the quicker you respond, the more work I can get done for you!
Once we have completed your Designer Day, you’ll have support access to me for five days via email so that you can reach out if you find yourself confused or stuck on anything we worked on during your Designer Day.
If needed, you can also add on additional support options, such as custom training videos or a 1:1 training call.
THE PROOF IS IN THE (CLIENT LOVE) PUDDING
For next steps, I’d love to learn a bit more about your business by setting up a consultation call.
HAVE QUESTIONS? I’VE GOT ANSWERS.
Yes, primarily to provide feedback as work is completed throughout the day. Since my Designer Day involves frequent communication and collaboration, I prefer to use chat-based platforms instead of traditional email communication.
My personal favorite is WhatsApp, a free app available for desktop and mobile that allows for texting, image sharing, and voice memos, which is great for clients who prefer to talk through their feedback, instead of writing it out.
If your Designer Day includes web design work, please note that I currently support WordPress, Showit and Wix. I will also take on Squarespace projects on a case-by-case basis.
Yes! You’re booking me for the entire day. I won’t be working on other client projects. You will also have unlimited communication with me via a chat-based platform (WhatsApp is my personal favorites).
Yes! You’ll receive five days of post-launch support. This support does not include any additional project work, and is limited to the scope of work we completed during your Designer Day.
If you would like to include custom training videos or a 1:1 training call, those are additional elements we can add to the scope of your project if needed. This is typically a great option for businesses who have an in-house individual or team handling website updates.
Since you’re booking me for a day, not a specific set of deliverables, I do my best to outline realistic expectations for what can be completed during your Designer Day so there are no surprises. During your Strategy Call, I will even provide an action plan that includes a priority list of to-do items so our time together is as productive as possible.
If your work is very extensive, or there is delayed feedback on your Designer Day that results in lower productivity, I may recommend an additional Designer Day. We’ll discuss the additional cost and timeline and add a subagreement to your existing contract if that is necessary for your project.
No – my Designer Day is ideal for smaller-scale website work, such as refreshing a homepage or blog, adding 1-2 new pages, mobile-optimizing, updating SEO, adding new functionality, updating imagery and copy, customizing a template to match your brand, or performing general maintenance.
If you have a full website redesign project, then please check out my website design and development services.
My Designer Day starts at $1,500.
I do offer additional add-on days for considerably lengthy to-do lists, or for additional post-launch training needs. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals and current wish list, and establish the priority items that must be completed on your Designer Day.
Due to the fast-paced nature of this service, your bill is due in full upon contract signing in order to officially secure your spot in my calendar.
Yes, on a case-by-case basis. These are subject to a 20% additional fee since this is outside my normal office hours.
Not at all! The majority of clients I work with have completely different aesthetics than my personal brand.
I’m not a one hit wonder that pushes out identical pieces of work, and I’ll make sure that your project deliverables are consistent with your branding, stands out amongst your competitors, and attracts your ideal clients.
